King Crimson - Thela Hun Gingeet Tabbed By: FraKctured Email: gabezentner@hotmail.com Tuning: Standard (E A D G) Great Krimson classic! Tony Levin is amazing. Play around 140BPM. Hopefully the note durations will give you an idea of the rhythm, or you can just listen to the song... Intro/Verse (E minor) (Play the first bar only once, then repeat the second measure) Q. S S E E E E Q E. S E E E E |------------------|--------------------| |----------1h2-----|---------1h2--------| |--------------3s2-|-------------3s2----| |--------x---------|-2--x--x------------| Pre-verse (C major) H E E E E a H H H E E E E H H |----------------|-------------|----------------|-----------| |----------------|-7s9----7----|----------------|-----------| |-----------8-10-|-------------|-----------8-10-|-----------| |-5----8-10------|-------------|-5----8-10------|-3----2----| Spoken Part I - Play 2x (D Minor) H Q Q H Q Q H Q Q Q Q Q Q |------------|------------|------------|-------------| |------------|------------|------------|-------------| |-2----------|-2----------|-2----------|-4--5--------| |------6--3--|------6--3--|------6--3--|-------6--3--| Spoken Part II - These are the same, except for the grace note before that D note the second time. (Also D Minor) H Q Q H Q Q Q Q Q Q H Q Q |------------|------------|-------------|------------| |------------|------------|-------------|------------| |-5----------|-5----------|-7--8--------|------------| |------9--6--|------9--6--|-------9--6--|-1----3--5--| a H Q Q H Q Q Q Q Q Q H Q Q |--------------|------------|-------------|------------| |--------------|------------|-------------|------------| |-4s5----------|-5----------|-7--8--------|------------| |--------9--6--|------9--6--|-------9--6--|-1----3--5--| For the noisy parts when there isn't much bass, just play around with the low F# and theoctaves; that's what it sounds like T. Lev is doing. These are a couple variations. Throw them in at your leisure (they are actually in the song at some points - The first is an Intro variation, the other is a lead-in to the Pre-verse.) I've been seeing this all over the internet, and I think it's wrong. I just sounds wrong. It's the pre-verse. Instead of 8-10 on the E to 8-10 on the A it should be 8-10 on the E to 10-12 on the A. Like this: |------------------|---------------|-----------------|-----------| |------------------|-7s9----7----|------------------|-----------| |-----------10-12|---------------|-----------10-12|-----------| |-5----8-10------|---------------|-5----8-10------|-3----2---|

Wow...that didn't work at all...shows you how much I know about posting comments, but people should be able to figure it out anyway I think...8-10 to 10-12, not 8-10 to 8-10
