Over the past month or so, whenever i've had a free moment ive been trying to figre this out, realised there was no bass tab, decided to make one, up to now most off my tabs have'nt been unaided, so this is my first purely by ear, its probably a bit wrong, contact me if you have any corrections,Cheers, Metalman1996.

Verse/ Chorus
G|------------------------------------------------------------| First verse, you come in on the
D|------------------------------------------------------------| fith line, in the other verses,
A|-----------3-3333-333-0-0000-0-00000-3-3333-3-33333---------| come in straight away. The pattern
E|3-3333-3333-----------------------------------------3-3333-3| is repeated 4 times when played from the begining of the verse. In the first chorus this is played once, in the second chorus, you play it twice. Also try playing this in octaves, it sounds great and gives the song a bit more texture.

Pre Chorus

Pattern 1

G|---------------------------------| This bit im 99.9% sure is right. Again,
D|---------------------------------| X1 spice it up a bit by playing octaves or
A|---------------------------------| if you have any bass effects, use light
E|5-55555-12-12121212-101010-8-8888| wah or distortion to make a sound which suits
you, equally, you could just play it normally if thats the sound you want to create.

Pattern 2

G|-------------------------| This bit im 99.9% sure is wrong, however
D|-------------------------| X1 it fits, if you figure out what the bassist
A|-------------------------| does play, please tell me.
E|5-55555-8888-111-3-333333|

Thats it, really easy, try the whole song in octaves or at different tempo, i find Katy songs really easy to play about with and suit styles im comfortable with such as Funk and Rock/Metal, so dont be afraid to play about yourselves. Please tell me if i've done anything wrong by commenting or going on my profile and emailing me or contacting me via Twitter.Metalman 1996.
