Main riff, adjusted so that it can all be played on one guitar. (I wrote this tab so that I could play this on acoustic and sing it for people when we all get wasted at parties. Nonetheless, it sounds mighty fine so I'm sharing with you fine folks.)

Some people slap a capo on the second fret and play this in the key of G. That would be nice, but I don't have a capo and it sounds fine in A. It's in 3/4 time as well.

Lyrics/Chords

E D D A E
I once had a girl, or should I say she once had me.
E D D A E
She showed me her home, isn't it good, Norwegan wood?

    Em A
She asked me to stay and she told me to sit anywhere.
   Em F# B
So I looked around and I noticed there wasn't a chair.

E D D A E
I sat on the rug, biding my time, drinking her wine.
E D D A E
We talked until two, and then she said, "It's time for bed."

    Em A
She told me she worked in the morning and started to laugh
  Em F# B
I told her I didn't and crawled up to sleep in the bath.

E D D A E
And when I awoke, I was alone. This bird had flown.
E D D A E
So, I lit a fire. Isn't it good, Norweigan wood?
