hello!
This is the 2nd part of the tapping lesson...here it is some exercice and
some explanation to do the 2 handed tapping...:
Here you have to play directly on the fretboard with both the hands, and
you need to strenghten your hand...here you are some good ex.:

G---7---7------------9---9------------Play this only with the
D-----------7---7-------------9---9---left hand,do not use the left
A-5---5------------7---7--------------one....
E---------5---5-------------7---7-----(use index and ring/pinkie)

G----14----14-----16---------Here use only the right hand!
D------------------------17--(use the index and the ring and hold
A-12----12-----14------------your hand to the fretboard with the
E---------------------15-----thumb)

These are ex.just to train the hand that is important..remember to move
both the hand up and down on the fretboard.............Now let's start:
begin to play slow 'cuz it's important a good sound, this ex is a little
bit harder than the first:

  l l r r l l r l l r r l l r r l l r r l l r
G---------14-------14----------17-----------16----------14--------21---
D---7-----------7--14----9--14-------10--14-------7--14--------9--21---
A------12--------------7-----------7------------7------------7----19---
E-5-----------5--------------------------------------------------(24)--
  1 2 3 4 5 6

I divided this ex in 6 part to explane the fingering:
1-use index and ring of both the hands
2-use index and ring of left hand and play the chord with the index
and the middle of the right hand
3-use index and ring of left hand and index and pinkie of the right hand
4-use index and pinkie of the left hand and index and ring of the right one
5-use the index and the middle of the left hand end the same 4 the left one
6-use the index and the ring of the right hand and play the chord with the
ring the middle and the index..(in brackets there is a 24 that if you can
you should hit that with your thumb...but it's relly hard)

You can use as ex metropolis part 1 by dream theatre following the pattern:

  l l r r l r r l r
G-----------14--------------------just play this starting by all the
D----7----------7------12--7------note on your fretboard...(E-string)
A-------12---------12---------12--
E-5-------------------------------

Play chords with this method,it's really helpful,
like this bossanova:

  l l r l l l r r l l r l l l r r
G--------16----------16-16-|--------17----------17-17---and
D--------16----------16-16-|-10-10--16--10-10-x-16-16---so
A-10--10-----10-10-x-------|----------------------------on
E--------------------------|----------------------------
   G Maj C dim

for the left hand use the index OR the middle(alternate),for the right
(chords)use the index AND the middle..!!

There are a lot of good artist to listen 4 this method, like
Billy Sheean(mr.big-solo),Jhon Myung(Dream theatre),Las Claypol(Primus)
Victor Wooten and son.....

So that's all I hope this will be helpful too for anyone for any comment
or question e-mail me at nicholasberti@hotmail.com....
Bye all!Shimmy-
