Band: Radiohead
Song: Where I End And You Begin
Album: Hail To The Thief
Bassist: Colin Greenwood
Transcribed by: Paul Williams

There are not as many notes in this song as would initially appear.
I think the fact that Phil Selway gives the snare a good old pounding
encourages you to play more notes! By method of choice I play the
song in a different position to others I have seen as I prefer the
tone you get from closer to the headstock. I’ll include the bars to
make it easier to pick up as it does have a typically Radiohead rhythm…(ie mental!)

Intro: 8 bars of synth, each is a semibreve (whole note)
just for the record the notes are Bb, C, G, Ab, F, G, C,

Whilst I have seperated the tab in to parts 1 and 2
this isn't to be followed too strongly. It is important
to get the vibe of this song as being very loose, it
needs to be played freely. As the song continues I tend
to complicate the parts more, its very much up to the
individual though. I've seen Colin play this a few times
live and each time was different. I hope this tab helps
get you started!
