[Verse]

Guitar 1 (clean sound)

(figure A)

|-2---X----------2-----|
|-3---X-X--3-3-----3---|
|-2h4---X--2-2h4-----2-|
|----------------------|
|----------------------|
|----------------------|

(figure B)

|-2---X----------2-----|
|-2---X-X--2-2-----2---|
|-2h3---X--2-2h3-----2-|
|----------------------|
|----------------------|
|----------------------|

in the verse, it's not the same riff all the way through,
you have to play (figure) A once, then B, then A twice,
and repeat. hope that makes sense, try it, it sounds good.

[chorus]
("we're chained")

guitar 1 plays:

G Em Bm (repeat)

guitar 2 (distorted) waits until guitar 1 hits the Bm for
the second time and plays:

|----------------------|
|-15-------------------|
|-17b(19)--------------|
|----------------------|
|----------------------|
|----------------------|

play that at the start of the bar for 3 bars, then
for the next 3 bars, play the same riff in quick
succession. Listening to the recording will give you
the idea.

after playing that, you move on to:

|----------------------|
|----------------------|
|-(19)b17--------------|
|----------------------|
|----------------------|
|----------------------|

Once again, play that for 3 bars, and then:

|----------------------|
|----------------------|
|-17b(really high)-----|
|----------------------|
|----------------------|
|----------------------|

yep, just bend it nice and slowly, and get really high
and let it fade out.

[solo]

Guitar 2
|-------------------------------------
|-3---0-------------2-----------------
|-------2---------------2-------------
|-----------4-2h3h4-------4---2-2h3h4-
|-------------------------------------
|-------------------------------------

|-------------------------------------
|-------------------------------------
|-------------------------------------
|-2---0-------------2---0-------------
|-------2---0-0h1h2-------2---0-0h1h2-
|-------------------------------------

Play that twice, then:
(guitar 1 plays the verse bit underneath this)

|-------------------------------------
|----------------------------------7--
|-3/7---------7-9--(10)b9------7-9----
|-------------------------------------
|-------------------------------------
|-------------------------------------

|-10--7-------------10--7-------------
|-------10--7-5h6b7-------10--7-5h6h7-
|-------------------------------------
|-------------------------------------
|-------------------------------------
|-------------------------------------

Then:

|----------------------|[Repeat]
|-----7----------------|
|-----9b11-------------|
|----------------------|
|----------------------|
|----------------------|

play this bar 3 times, then on the 4th bar, play it
on every eighth beat.

there's another bit, which i'll include, it's a
really quiet part for guitar 2, it comes in around [2:23],
when francis says "the whores like a choir, go uh!".
when he says "uh!", play:

|----------------------------------
|----------------------------------
|----------------------------------
|-55555555555555554444444444444444-
|----------------------------------
|----------------------------------

|----------------------------------
|----------------------------------
|----------------------------------
|-00000000000000000000000000000000-
|----------------------------------
|----------------------------------

i actually only heard that because i put one of my
speakers next to my head for some reason. i don't
think i'm imagining it. oh, i just listened to the
recording off the bbc abum, it's louder on there,
check it out if you have it.

well, that's the whole tab, sorry if i talked too
much, but i thought it would be a good idea to
explain what was going on. it's my first tab, looks
good though.
