This is an extremely easy, repetitive, and boring song (or cover) to play. I think I'd have to say the original version is better, even if it was the typical 80's pop. There are weird synth and electronic drum fills that you may mistake for bass, but.. they're not. Since everything is so basic and boring, I recommend a lot of improvisation.
