Title: Alright
Album: Travelling Without Moving
Bass Player: Stuart Zender
This Transcription: Lawrence Docherty
Dedications: This ones for Tomsk, and for everyone else from around the
world who mailed me to ask (you know who you are) :o)
This is a deceptively easy number. Keep those disco octaves rock-steady, and
in the sliding section try and add a bit of swing
into the bassline, get yourself grooving ;o) Any comments as usual to my new
address: loafer@larry.prestel.co.uk
Brief key: 3/5 means slide from fret 3 to 5, X means muted note on
corresponding string,
3h5 means hammer-on from fret 3 to fret 5
Intro. (Note - all notes softly plucked (I use my thumb for this section)
and each note not marked X must last!!!)
(There are some stray muted notes in here as well, listen to the
record for timing!)

Main Riff. (Note - the octaves are all played Stacatto, ie abruptly or
sharply. Use thumb and middle fingers, its the easiest)
(way to play these disco-type things. Some of the notes are slid
onto: I'll mark those with a *. Listen to the)

throughout the song. I'll only write it down once though.)

The End. Same as the start but play the notes Stacatto a couple of times
instead of once softly. No tab required ;)
